JB Oil meets the EU-harmonised threshold for hemp-derived CBD products (THC content under 0.3%), defined by Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 and the Common Catalogue of agricultural plant varieties. The Court of Justice of the European Union confirmed, in the Kanavape ruling of November 2020, the principle of free movement within the European Union for hemp-derived CBD products that comply with the harmonised threshold. CBD is currently classified as a novel food in the European Union, which is why JB Oil is sold for technical, scientific, ornamental and collector purposes in line with the European hemp regulatory framework, not as a food product. Each batch is verified daily by independent EU-certified laboratories and a certificate of analysis is available on request.
