What’s the difference between CBD hash and CBD flower?

Modified on: 24/06/2026

CBD flower is the dried inflorescence of the hemp plant, with the trichomes still on the calyxes. CBD hash is the resin sieved from those trichomes and pressed into a compact format. The cannabinoid load per gram is higher on hash because the resin concentrates the cannabinoid and terpene fraction, and the per-gram price reflects that concentration. Both come from the same Cannabis sativa L. genetics, both are lab-tested under the 0.3% EU-harmonised THC threshold, and both are sold under the same European hemp regulatory framework for technical, scientific, ornamental and collector purposes.
