The main difference lies in the parts of the plant used. Traditional CBD Weed consists only of dried inflorescences (buds) of hemp—i.e., the actual CBD Flowers—whereas Trim CBD is made from various plant parts such as small CBD Buds, leaves, stems, root fragments, and other remnants generated during the necessary processing of the plant. In other words, Trim contains small buds within a blend of chopped plant material from the entire plant.
This distinction leads to some obvious differences. Visually and structurally, Trim appears as shredded material (similar to a leaf cut) rather than whole buds. CBD content can also differ: in “regular” CBD Flowers, CBD is naturally present in higher concentrations on the tops, while in leaves and trimmings the initial concentration is generally lower. However, as noted, JustBob also offers enriched Trims (Boost and Super Boost) that can reach CBD levels comparable to—or higher than—many traditional buds, making them very CBD Flower options. Another point is price: Trim CBD costs significantly less than whole inflorescences because it’s made from plant parts that would otherwise be discarded. In short, Trim CBD differs from classic CBD Weed in composition, appearance, and (without enrichment) potency, but it’s a smart way to make use of every part of the plant. In any case, both product types are not intended to be smoked or ingested, but for technical/collectible use in accordance with the law.
